In a report published by NHS Digital "The Mental Health of Children and Young People in England 2022 report", it has shown that prevalence of mental health disorders in people aged between 17 and 19 years old has increased to 25.7% in 2022. 

The report (linked below) explores the changes in mental health of children and young people in England in recent years, as well as differences in genders and mental health. The report also discusses a number of factors alongside mental health including household circumstances, school, social media, eating problems, sleeping problems, loneliness and self-harm.
